Avoiding Acne: It Can Be Done

<!–noadsense–>Acne is a skin infection and in the main occurs when bacteria gets into the pores where it piles up and breeds. Frequently, individuals blame acne zits on pubescence, but in truth they can be caused by other things as well. Normally it’s just being a teenager that’s the cause.

There are different things that causes acne to happen and either one of four factors should be learned in order to treat the acne bacteria at it’s root successfully and it’s best to first examine these factors before consulting with a doctor or skin specialist.

The oils being released at high levels may be due to hormone imbalances that are caused by puberty, stress or health issues.

Bacteria can get into the pores due to poor hygiene – i.e. keeping the skin thoroughly clean.

A poor diet can encourage oily skin as well as lowering the body’s ability to fight off any infection.

Bacteria feeds on the dead skin cells not properly exfoliated and cleaned away, which makes it a prime target for acne bacteria growth.

Acne treatments containing benzoyl peroxide (eg, Benzac, Brevoxyl), salicylic acid (eg, Neutrogena Acne Wash) and alpha hydroxy acids (eg, some Neutrogena or Neostrata products) are efficient in keeping mild acne at bay, but treat the skin gently as too much scrubbing can irritate and inflame the skin even more.

Skin cleansers and medicated washes containing antiseptic agents, are useful in getting rid of grease from the skin and cutting down bacteria on the skins surface. Laser resurfacing, dermabrasion, chemical peels, or electro-surgery can flatten depressed skin scars. Soft tissue elevation with collagen or fat-filling products can elevate scars.

Natural acne treatment is a great option because it doesn’t dry out or irritate skin, but gently and safely removes blemishes, zits and pimples, preventing them from returning. Natural health practitioners believe that food sensitivities, saturated and hydrogenated fats, a lack of friendly bowel flora, bowel toxicity, poor elimination, nutritional deficiencies and hormonal imbalance’s can all contribute to causing problems such as acne. Due to this viewpoint, a healthy diet is essential.

To learn what is causing your acne problems, you should thoroughly think about what you are encountering in your life and better anything that you may see as an apparent reason why your body is acting this way.
